Mini Blocks 🧱

The Mini Blocks datapack adds over 550 Mini Blocks now obtainable in survival! Just place a block into a stonecutter to cut it into Mini Blocks!

🧠 How It Works

Instead of relying on RNG from Wandering Traders, this version uses the stonecutter as a crafting station:

  1. Place a full-size block (e.g. log, ore, crafting table) into a stonecutter.

  2. A list of miniature block options appears in the stonecutter’s output.

  3. Select the mini block and receive 8 units of that mini version (player-head style).

  4. Works with a wide variety of blocks — typically anything that has a corresponding mini version.

🔁 This method is fast, repeatable, and survival-compatible.

All Mini Blocks are cut from their respective block unless otherwise specified (usually because the block is not obtainable). Mini Blocks cut from slab-sized blocks (including Daylight Detectors, Stonecutters, Campfires, and Sculk Sensors) and stairs yield 4 and 6 Mini Blocks respectively. Other non-full blocks yield 1 Mini Block. All other blocks yield 8 Mini Blocks.
