# Durability Ping ⚠️

#### 🧠 How It Works

When a piece of gear (tool, weapon, or armor) reaches **low durability**, the datapack will:

* 🔔 **Play a chime sound**
* 💬 **Send a warning message in chat** (visible only to the player)

This happens automatically when an item’s durability **drops below 10%**.

The alert works with:

* ✅ Tools (Pickaxes, Axes, Shovels, etc.)
* ✅ Weapons (Swords, Bows, Crossbows, Tridents)
* ✅ Armor (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots)
* ✅ Elytra and Shields
