# Craftable Coral (2x2 & 3x3) 🪸

#### 🧠 How It Works

In vanilla Minecraft:

* **Coral blocks** can only be obtained using **Silk Touch** on coral in **warm oceans**.
* They're non-renewable and hard to obtain in large quantities — especially in landlocked or custom-generated worlds.

With these datapacks, you can **craft coral blocks** using coral fans or coral items:

#### 🧩 2x2 Version – *Craftable Coral 2x2*

* Craft a **coral block** by placing **4 matching coral fans or coral items** in a **2×2 pattern** in the crafting grid.
* Example (for Tube Coral Block):

  ```
  [Tube Coral] [Tube Coral]
  [Tube Coral] [Tube Coral]
  ```
* Output: **1 Tube Coral Block**

This version is **great for early survival** or **compact crafting tables**.

#### 🧩 3x3 Version – *Craftable Coral 3x3*

* Craft a **coral block** by placing **9 matching coral items** in a **3×3 pattern**:

  ```
  [Coral] [Coral] [Coral]
  [Coral] [Coral] [Coral]
  [Coral] [Coral] [Coral]
  ```
* Output: **1 Coral Block**

This version is **more balanced** and ideal for **resource-rich survival** or **server environments**.
